An exciting new Meditation and Prayer section has now been added to the TCFC Christian Tai Chi online training syllabus.
Our first lesson in the new meditation section is an adaptation of the Lord’s Prayer and is intended to be slowly and prayerfully spoken after each TCFC Tai Chi training exercise.
As Jesus’ own model for how to connect with the Father, we consider the Lord’s Prayer to be the best way to begin a meditation and prayer journey.
In its traditional form, Tai Chi is often practised for health, energy balance and internal strength. At TCFC Tai Chi, we also recognise that these meditative movements are aligned with the gentle, life-giving Spirit of Christ – the Alpha and the Omega. Consequently, the integration of prayerful meditation after Tai Chi training has become a natural extension of TCFC Tai Chi practice and is intended to provide a deep sense of peace and communion in Christ.
Over the coming months, we will be adding additional sections to the online TCFC training syllabus including more meditation exercises, a section on contemplative walking and additional Tai Chi training exercises.
Try TCFC Tai Chi for free or join TCFC Tai Chi for US$19-50pm or US$195pa and get access to all TCFC Tai Chi training including the new meditation section.
